The Smell of Bullshit, part 76: Racism and Colonialism in the Middle East?

This was sent to me with a request to publish it some time ago, but the pressure of meatspace life took over and I’m only just getting round to it.

  1. That was a truly horrifying read. Sadly, I wasn’t surprised by any of it. Anything is acceptable as long as the profits roll in, and anything is acceptable in order to make those profits roll in. So little accountability for the health and well-being (physical, mental and financial) of the people who make those profits for this disgusting company. And it is disgusting.

What amazes me is that it only seems to get worse with every passing year! Whilst each scenario and arm of the company may be different (and some much worse than others – this story being shocking in the extreme for many reasons), the issues that pervade throughout are constant: Lush doesn’t care about anything or anyone. Apart from money. Everything is just lip service.

You can’t polish a turd, no matter how much essential oil you use.
